托德Greve, 85年，87年 chose to attend Shenandoah because of its smaller and friendly atmosphere, which he believes enhances the student learning experience and connections with classmates and professors.
Some of Greve’s fondest memories of the university are attending and performing in various concerts and recitals as well as being a staff member for one of the resident halls. He is also a lifetime member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America.
Prior to retirement in June 2022, Greve was the music pastor at Chestnut Hill Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Virginia.
In this position, he was responsible for the music and worship ministry of the church. This included leading all services and directing the choir, handbells and praise team. He also oversaw all the music equipment and the annual budget.
He has spent nearly 30 years in worship ministry, not including seven years as a public school teacher before earning a second masters while attending seminary.
His courses and experiences at Shenandoah prepared him for the numerous opportunities he has had in the workforce, including the varied instrumental and vocal ensembles he has led for all ages. He gives thanks to the many amazing professors who helped him become ready for his line of work.
Greve’s advice to current and future students is: “Learn as much as you possibly can!”
